Colonial Place Christian Church
Join teen author, Mary-Kaitlyn Brown, at Colonial Place Christian Church for a Q & A Session followed by book signing. Mary-Kaitlyn is the author of “Forgive Me”, and is currently a senior at Deep Run High School & a niece of one of our church members.
“In her own words, she says, ‘I really want to use my love of writing to honor God and what He’s done in my life. I also want to show young kids and teenagers like myself, that you are not too young to make a difference in our world. Life is such a gift. Always strive to do your best and never, ever give up!!…And keep on Raising the Belief… “
Concerning the book she has written, “Suffering from personal issues and serious neglect from her parents, 17 yr old Carley attempts to numb the pain by drinking and partying. But when one night at a fellow classmates party turns dangerous, who will Carley turn to? Will she ever be able to forgive herself? Will she be able to earn forgiveness from the people whose lives she shattered? Follow two special characters on their journey to find love, strength, forgiveness, and the mercy that God shows us each and every day in “Forgive Me.”
Mary-Katelyn has done many talks and book signings all over Richmond, and even as far as the west coast, sharing her story, gifts and testimony. We are lucky to have her be with us. Join us for a great afternoon of learning and inspiration.
